Queensland Health Payroll System Commission of Inquiry

The Honourable Richard Chesterman AO RFD QC opened the Queensland Health Payroll System Commission of Inquiry on 1 February 2013.

In his remarks at the directions hearing, Commissioner Chesterman explained the purpose of the inquiry "is to determine why such large amounts of money have been lost to the public, whether anything might be recovered; and why such distress was inflicted on the Queensland Health workforce."

Final Hearing Phase

The "Settlement" phase begins Monday 27 May 2013.

Live streaming

Live streaming of the Queensland Health Payroll System Commission of Inquiry will be available on hearing days from 10am. The stream will be suspended during breaks and usually concludes around 4.30pm. 

Extension granted
